Kandhari who was last seen in Sahara One's Haunted Nights will soon be
seen in an episodic of Savdhaan India @11 on Life OK.
Rishina will be seen playing the role of a lady excise
officer, who attends a party with her husband. At the party the DCP under
influence of alcohol tries to get close to her and harasses her in front
of everyone.
The story revolves around how the lady officer tries to
get justice but no one hears her, not even the police or high court. She
ends up running for her life and is forced to leave her job after
getting pregnant. In the end she gets justice in the Supreme Court.
When we spoke to Rishina she said, "Women never open up
in front of people about getting molested or sexual harassment, because
if the open up, the society talks bad about them and that is why men
take advantage. Women should not refrain from complaining because
under section 509 any kind of molestation results in a 1 year
sentence or a fine! Happy womenhood... Be safe".
