Gaurav Gera all ready for the 300th show of Jhumroo

Gaurav Gera who plays the main role in Jhumroo, the grand musical comedy on stage is all set for the 300th show today.

Retro in look with psychedelic colors, bling and more, Jhumroo, is a celebration of the spirit of Kishore Kumar, a legend who continues to charm the young & old alike. It is the story of a simple, happy go lucky, 25 year old boy Bhola who dreams of becoming the country's biggest singing idol one day. How the music and spirit of Kishore da whom Bhola considers his idol makes this possible is an enchanting tale in true sense of the word. With the evergreen music of Kishore Kumar, Jhumroo is a rollercoaster ride that surprises audiences with twists & turns.

Gaurav Gera who plays Bhola is excited as the play is all set for the 300th show today in Delhi. Talking about it Gaurav says, "Jhumroo has 19 songs of singer Kishore Kumar and I totally enjoy the singing and dancing involved. We have two shows in a week and it is absolute fun to work in such a huge set-up which has a grand Broadway feel to it. We complete 300 shows today evening and all of us are looking forward to it. Jhumroo was launched on 7th April 2012 and it has been a year full of lovely fun-filled memories. We are having a grand retro themed party on the 7th wherein even the audience will enjoy the show and then party with us."
Gaurav who began as a dancer was trained in Delhi and has just wrapped up his show Tota Weds Maina with Kavita Kaushik on Sab TV. "I have finished shooting for the show and it will wrap up this Friday. I don't regret doing Tota weds Maina as it was a good concept and the audience loved it but I think the time slot was a bit late."
Anyway, now Gaurav wants to move on and when asked if he wants to replicate his dance moves in any dance reality show like the much awaited Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Dancing with the Stars he says, "I think it is a good show to be in. It is pure talent, no spice added to it like some other shows which have fights just for TRPs. I have heard that the schedule is too hectic so it is for people who are charged up and is very challenging. I have never been offered Jhalak as yet but yes, actually that is the only show I'm waiting for otherwise I love Bigg Boss too, but don't feel like participating."
We wish you all the very best, Gaurav!
