Barkha Bisht, Delnaaz Irani coming up in a new play

Noted theatre personality Paritosh Painter’s new play Marriages are made in Heaven will have these two actresses acting in it.

Barkha Bisht Sengupta and Delnaaz Irani will be seen in a new play Marriages are made in Heaven. Produced by Ashwin Goidwani and directed by Paritosh Painter the new play is a comedy about marriages and all that follows. As the name suggests the play attempts to explore marriage in a funny way and also gives a social message. The format is like a film with the actors getting to groove to popular Bollywood numbers as well.

Delnaaz Irani who was last seen on Bigg Boss Season 6 went on to become a popular candidate of the show and missed on winning the title to friend turned-foe-turned-friend Urvashi Dholakia. Delnaaz who is a popular name in Hindi films and Television also has done theatre and acted in several Hindi, Gujrati and English plays. She has acted in plays produced / directed by Paritosh Painter earlier too.

Delnaaz who has always maintained that Theatre gives her immense satisfaction said, "The play is scheduled to open on 28^th April." The play which has its first show in Bangalore will then travel all over India and also overseas.

Barkha who was last seen anchoring Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe last year has also done Bengali films after doing Hindi serials for long. Married to actor Indraneil Sengupta, Barkha is taking it easy on the work front after her baby Meera was born in 2011. Not ready to reveal much, Barkha said that they were busy with the rehearsals as of now and gearing up for the opening.
