Kushal Tandon, the handsome hunk who essays the character of Virat in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai aired on Star Plus, is immensely popular amongst the fans. They love his good looks clubbed with his acting abilities. And yesterday (28 March 2012), his ardent followers definitely rejoiced as this actor celebrated his birthday.
But unlike many of his counterparts, Kushal wasn’t working on his natal day: “I would definitely not want to work on my B-day and luckily I could get a day off from my daily yesterday.”
He started his day by visiting Siddhivinayak Temple and after that a lunch with his girlfriend kept him busy in the afternoon. But what is a birthday celebration without a party? So, yes, Kushal did party hard with people from his show and a few close friends in attendance. “I could not drink as the festival of Navratri is currently going on,” Kushal reveals to Tellychakkar.com.
Talking about someone’s natal day, we can’t miss the present part. “I received many gifts and all are special in their own way.” What did his girlfriend gift him? “Since she doesn’t belong to India, the best she could manage was a blazer. And it was sweet of her.”
“However, I am awaiting a gift which will probably be the best one. That will come from my dad, a brand new Audi Q5. Though I will have to wait for a month to receive it, it is surely worth it,” beams Kushal.
