Karanvir Bohra loses his cool on being called Karan

Karanvir Bohra has been receiving accolades for playing the character of Viraaj in UTV's Saubhagyavati Bhava on Life OK. He has become a household name by playing a possessive and abusive husband in this show.

But this possessiveness is definitely a part of the real Karanvir. Apparently, this handsome actor doesn't like being called Karan, that's half of his name. Well, we understand that, but considering that with Karanvir, half of his name means Karan, we think there’s no reason for him to complaint.

However, he has a reason. Incidentally, when this actor was celebrating the completion of 100 episodes of his daily, many presentees in the party addressed him as Karan. And this made him lose his temper. “I am Karanvir and not Karan,” he said in a way similar to Viraaj’s style of speaking. “There are thousands of Karan in the industry and I hate being generalized,” he revealed the reason for his anger.

In fact, his better half, Teejay Sidhu, believes that Karanvir has started living his character in real life. “He has started behaving like Viraaj and I am not talking about the abusive part (laughs).”

We just hope that Karanvir doesn’t take his character any more seriously.
