They were partners in business till last year and this year following a rift they parted ways and now Saxena has dragged Kalantri to court. Together they launched the Gold awards last year which were held in Mauritius. The same are to be held this year in Dubai. But with the turn of events Kalantri has renamed the awards which are now called Platinum Awards. Unconfirmed reports have it that the awards may face a hurdle keeping the legal tangle in mind.
It is buzzed that Saxena was not paid his dues and hence decided to opt out. Talking to Tellychakkar Saxena informs, “"Yes, We have sent a legal notice to Vikas's company and I don't want to talk about it as the matter is subjudice."
Says Pooja Ghai, Kalantri’s business partner, “We are holding the awards on 20th December. As far as the notice from Anuj Saxena is concerned we haven’t received any such notice and whatever he has been telling the press and media are all false allegations. All the legalities will be taken care of by our lawyers. Also we are not organising Gold Awards but Platinum Awards.”
On or off? …we will know soon!
