Scheduled to perform at the Big Star Awards, Bhanot had to back out at the last moment...

What happens when one gets injured and cannot perform the task which was assigned to him? Shaleen Bhanot went through a similar situation on Big Star Awards where he was about to perform with Sanjeeda Shaikh, Mukti Mohan and a few more, but couldn't.

A little birdie from the industry informs, "Shaleen was supposed to perform at the Big Star Awards but couldn't because during the shoot for his upcoming show, he met with an accident and badly injured his toes.Due to this, and he had to back out at the last moment."

Now you must be wondering what would have happened with this last minute change. A source further goes on, "Aksshat Raj Saluja being a good dancer was approached at the last moment and he was asked to perform instead of Shaleen. It was great of him that he agreed to support and rehearsed the whole act within a small span of time and nailed the performance."

We contacted Shaleen to enquire about his injury and he confirmed, "Yes, it's true that I injured myself and could not perform for the awards and it was nice of Akkshat to take up my responsibility."

All our efforts to reach Aksshat were in vain.
