MasterChef India Season 2: Zaykebaaz battle out Family Challenge and Christmas Wonderland challenge this weekend (17-12-2011 and 18-12-2011)

The Zaykebaaz are in for a surprise this weekend when their family members will come in place of a challenge. While Joseph’s dad will arrive with the nameplate of his very own restaurant, Dolcee will be delighted to see her husband and son Karan. This week’s challenge will require each family member to bring along one dish they eat at home. Contrary to what the contestants assume, they won’t be making dishes familiar to them. A lucky draw will find them picking another contestants’ family recipe.

Which family dish will turn out the best? And who will be the five to face the ‘Aakhri Daav’?

While the Family Challenge is going to be very emotional, the Aakhri Daav will bring the MasterChef India 2 contestants back to reality. This week, New York city’s top pastry Chef Jehangir Mehta will add grandeur to the MasterChef kitchen. Five unsafe contestants will battle it out in his challenge – Christmas Wonderland.

The forthcoming elimination task will require the contestants to replicate Chef Jehangir’s attractive festive creation. It includes preparing a Christmas tree of three hundred doughnuts, one hundred and fifty marsh-mellows, brownie gift boxes and cotton candies. The sheer quantity of elements in the task is going to make it very challenging.
