Bollywood glam brigade in Blenders Pride Fashion Tour on Zee Trendz tonight at 2130 hrs (23-12-2011)
It’s getting hot in here as Zee Trendz showcases Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2011. In its seventh edition, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour continues to offer glitz and glamour with an array of the country’s best fashion designers.
Moving Seagram’s Blenders Pride’s association with ‘Style’ a notch further, Pernod Ricard India appointed Bollywood Diva and fashion icon Priyanka Chopra as the Brand Ambassador BLENDER’s PRIDE FASHION TOUR 2011.
Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, in its 7th edition, is a benchmark in the Indian fashion calendar. It extends across 6 cities and talks to consumers on style, design and skill; showcasing the finest in their profession.
The designers of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour’s 7th edition include Anand Kabra, Asmita Marwa, Gavin Miguel, Mandira Wirk, Neeta Lulla, Raakesh Agarvwal, Ramona Narang, Rina Dhaka, Rocky S, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Reynu Taandon, Vikram Phadnis and Wendell Rodricks.
The event witnessed several of Bollywood’s hot ladies walking the ramp as show-stoppers. If we saw Malaika Arora in a sensational gossamer dress, Esha Deol stunned us with a couture black outfit. The other lovely ladies on the ramp were Jacqueline Fernandez and Kalki Koechlin.
Anushka Sharma, Minissha Lamba and Sameera Reddy scorched the ramp at Blenders Pride Fashion Tour. If Anushka was the show-stopper for Wendell Rodricks’ sizzling loungewear, Minissha walked in a splendid dress designed by Reynu Tandon, while Sameera Reddy was the girl for Bollywood’s ace fashion designer Neeta Lulla.
The Arora sisters were the eye-grabbers when they sashayed down the ramp in backless dresses at Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour in Mumbai.
After touring cities like Kolkata and Delhi, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour reached the City of Nizams, Hyderabad, and guess who walked the ramp- the pretty Tamanna, the sensuous Sarah Jane Dias, and the vivacious Genelia D'Souza.
South hottie Tamannah took the audience by surprise as she walked the ramp in a red fusion dress for the renowned Bollywood fashion designer Neeta Lulla, but the one who parched the runway was the former beauty queen Sarah Jane Dias. She walked the ramp for designer Gavin Miguel and stirred the fantasies with her flowy gown. However, Genelia D’Souza went traditional for Raakesh Agarvwal. Bollywood hotties Dia Mirza and Malaika Arora were also part of the Blenders Pride Tour in Hyderabad.
Dia Mirza shunned her cute image and looked nothing but sexy as she walked down the ramp for the designer Rocky S. But, for Malaika ‘munni’ Arora it was ethnic Indian bridal wear by Vikram Phadnis.
Ranveer Singh has it in him to attract the girls. Don’t believe us, tune in to the show on Zee Trendz and check it out yourself. Not for nothing is Sonakshi Sinha all moony over Ranveer Singh. The handsome lad is quite a lady charmer, it seems. The Band Baaja Baaraat star made his debut on the ramp at the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour 2011 and sashayed downthe catwalk for the Delhi-based designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna.
What particularly caught our eye was Ranveer’s bonding with Kalki Koechlin backstage. The happily married Kalki walked the ramp in a zany outfit for designer Gavin Miguel.
Our readers’ wishes have come true and the starlet has been chosen as a wildcard entrant
It’s final. Mahek Chahal will reenter Bigg Boss 5 on a wild card. The starlet had been evicted on December 10, much to the surprise of viewers and her fellow housemate Siddharth Bhardwaj. It had been rumoured that Mahek was selected as one of the contestants on the behest of the show’s host Salman Khan and it was thanks to his support that she managed to stay in the house for as long as she did. However, after she got evicted, Mahek claimed to all and sundry that there was no favouritism going on. “It is not right to say that Salman has been favouring me. I share a very nice relationship with him but that doesn’t mean he is biased towards me,” she had claimed. With her reentry into the house, the buzz has started doing the rounds again. Maybe Salman did suggest she be chosen over the other possible – Lakshmi Tripathi and Shonali Nagrani – or maybe he did not. What we do know is that our readers are going to be very happy with Mahek’s return. We’ve received a whole lot of comments about how they wish Mahek was brought back. They called her gutsy, bold and beautiful, and said that she is the only one who showcased her true self on the show. They sent prayers in the hope that she will win and even went to the extent of saying that if Mahek did not reenter as wild card, they will never watch Bigg Boss again. The theme was the same – Mahek, and not Juhi Parmar, deserves to win. Is Bigg Boss listening?
