Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in a prime time family drama as a fictional character on Sony TV.

And finally Amitabh Bachchan bites the bait. After 44 years of entertaining his fans, Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen as a fictional character in a path-breaking, finite fiction show jointly produced by Endemol India Pvt. Ltd., and Saraswati Creations for Sony TV.                                                               

The as yet untitled show will be directed by noted film director Anurag Kashyap who at the announcement of the show declared his happiness on coming back to Television and that too with a big star like Amitabh Bachchan.                                                                            

Talking at the press conference to announce the show, Amitabh Bachchan said, "It was on my mind for a long time and after many discussions with my team and then with others I finally decided to take the plunge. I tried to keep this news away from my near ones as when I had taken up Kaun Banega Crorepati for the first time everyone objected to it."                                                              

Playing loyal to the channel which will soon telecast his game show KBC, Amitabh said, "I see all of Sony serials and I just loved the IPL." When prodded on which fiction show he loves the most, he said, "Bade Acche Laggte Hain." 
                                                                                   
As an actor Amitabh is ready to work the long hours that the Television industry demands, "If required, I am ready to work for 18 hours" he said.  

Well, for a person who is always in the quest to do something new all the time 'what next' is the one question that is always on his mind and for the time being he seems to have found the answer for the same.
