TellyBuzz got in touch with Veebha Anand to share about her being a part of the movie...
Pratha'
is a zero budget short film produced by Vansh and Suren Kakkar. The
storyline of the movie is based on a village girl played by the talented
and gorgeous actress Veebha Anand who was last seen in Zee TV's daily soap Sanskaar Laxmi and is currently seen on stage in
the play Rishton Ka Live Telecast.
We asked Veebha about the film and the actress says,"I am playing the role of Shyamli in the movie who is a young and brave village girl. Shyamili is so brave that she led the funeral pyre of her father, which is against the orthodox Indian culture, which according to our Indian culture is a right performed by males in our society. She dares
to challenge the idiosyncrasy of the Indian people and faces many challenges who try to stop her."

"I am very happy to be a part of such a
project as it is a real life story which took place some years back in a
village. The movie gives a positive message and I hope it makes a
difference," she concluded.
