Celebs share their plans for Holi this year!
Television celebrities talk about their plans of celebrating the festival of colors this year...
Holi
is the festival of love, unity and triumph of good over evil. This
festival of colours is celebrated in India with heaps of joy and
happiness. Keeping the regional, cultural and other difference aside,
people come together and celebrate this day with pure happiness. We got
in touch with few television
celebrities to share their plans for Holi this year and what is special
for them on this day!
Here is what they said...
Aishwarya Sakhuja: This holi there will be no usage of water for sure. As I am in Bombay I will be celebrating holi with my friends and not family. I have been celebrating holi with my friends since the past 4 years.Once again I have planned a get together with friends and we will be relishing yummy food too.
Hiten Tejwani:This year we will be celebrating Holi with friends and family. I am very excited to play Holi with my kids just like every year. Looking forward to this day.
Manasi Parekh: I will be saving water and going green this Holi. Organic colours are good to use then the toxic ones. I love the holika fire day, I think it is a very powerful and beautiful symbolic tradition so I will definitely celebrate it.
Karan Singh Grover: There is nothing special planned on Holi for me as I don't like this festival. I think we should refrain from throwing balloons and colours on each other because our country is not clean anyway. Avoiding this is a must. I understand the sentiments and emotions behind the festival but one needs to be practical and understand what is important. I think if everyone wants to celebrate holi then one must do so by giving sweets to each other and avoid the mess.
Jay Soni: I am going to celebrate holi with friends and family. But I will play only with colours and not water.
Surbhi Jyoti: I like Holi as it is the festival of colours. But I don't like the way people celebrate holi now-a-days by wasting so much water and using toxic colours. We should avoid wasting water and use organic colours.
TellyBuzz wishes a very Happy, Safe and Water-free Holi to all the readers of India-Forums.
