Aleeza Khan set to replace Shirya Jha in Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga!
After revamping the storyline with more scheming, plotting, dramatic elements and introducing new faces, it's time for another gimmick. Recently the audience could notice that Pankaj Tewari has been replaced by Aamir Ali. And now latest buzz says, the tale will also witness change in female lead face. Shriya Jha, current protagonist will be soon replaced by Aleeza Khan, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan fame.
According to source, “The reason behind the change is said to be Shriya's health issues. The actress is going through some health issues and is not been able to give enough time for the shooting schedules. But now the production house and Shriya have amicably decided to discontinue their association.”
Therefore, Aleeza Khan will step in the show to play the role of lead character Angana which was earlier played by Shriya Jha. She will start shooting for the show from 19 March. “Yes, I am doing the show and it's a great feeling to be back in a lead role and after such a long gap. It's a challenge to replace somebody in a show but I am ready for it and I am very happy to be working with Rajshri Production,” says Aleeza.
