Aamna Shariff has stopped shooting for Hongey Judaa Na Hum!
But it looks like Sony has some high hopes with the new line of shows it has. After launching Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions’ Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, the channel is now raving about their next with Optimystix. It has Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon fame Sanaya Irani and the show has been tentatively titled as Chanchan.
It was earlier also updated that Chanchan will be replacing Sri Adhikari Brothers’ Hongey Judaa Na Hum. And the latest buzz now states that Hongey… will end on 21 March and Chanchan will air from 25 March 2013 at 9 pm. Meanwhile, it is also to be heard that lead actress of Hongey…Aamna Shariff has stopped shooting for the show owing to some payment issues. A source stated, “Aamna stopped shooting the moment she learnt that the show’s going off air. In fact, she told the makers that she won’t begin shooting till she does not receive her pay cheques immediately (usually payments are made after work is done, but Aamna wants her remuneration in advance).”
The source went on to add, “It is not practically possible as after the work gets done, payments are made. That is the usual norm in the industry. We have no idea why she is behaving so unprofessionally.”
Aamna’s absence from the show might lead to a not so happy ending for the daily soap. Let us see how the end turns up to be now!
