Colors’ newest show Kairi grabbed a lot of attention all thanks to its interesting promos, wherein Imarti Devi is taunting her daughters-in-law. But with the youngest daughter-in-law entering the house, she will give a tough time to Imarti Devi. Overall, the show promises to be a show full of fun and taunts and a welcome relief to the audiences.
But now the makers of the show Shashi-Sumeet Mittal have roped in Usha Nadkarni in this show. This veteran actress, who is currently seen in Pavitra Rishta, would be seen in this Colors’ show in a special hour long episode that will be aired every Saturday. She will be seen speaking about the ongoing track, a la late Ashok Kumar in the legendary series Hum Log that aired on Doordarshan.
Incidentally, this will be Colors’ second show to have a celebrity as a narrator. The first one to start this trend was Chhal, which roped in Bollywood veteran Om Puri.
Tellychakkar.com contacted Usha Nadkarni and she said, “Though I am not playing a character in the show, I am a very important and crisp part of it. I would conclude the whole week’s episode with my own style and I will say this catchy line “Dekhte Rahiye, Imarti Devi Ki Kahaani Meri Jubani” at the end. I am extremely excited and looking forward to the show.”
The first episode starring Usha Nadkarni will be aired on 7 April 2012
