Mouli Ganguly is appreciated for the portrayal of Anushka in Balaji Telefilms’ Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada on Sony Entertainment Television. This show that stars Pawan Shankar and Mona Singh as the lead revolves on the subject of extra marital affair.
Though the audiences are having a good time watching Anushka’s (Mouli) attempts to get back Pradeep (Pawan), if things had fallen into place this character would have been played by Shweta Kawatra. This lovely actress has known the production house for a really long time and has done shows like Ghar Ek Mandir, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kkusum.
A source informs Tellychakkar.com that the production house was keen to cast Shweta for the role of Anushka. However, this lovely actress, married to actor Manav Gohil, was in the initial stages of her pregnancy. And for medical reasons, she had to decline the offer.
Tellychakkar.com contacted Shweta Kawatra about this and she said, “I had to decline the offer because of my pregnancy; but I must admit that I do not regret the decision. I share a great rapport with the production house, but pregnancy is the best phase of a woman’s life. Moreover, I am sure once I come out of this phase, I will get an equally good or better role,” beams the would be mother. The actress is expected to deliver sometime in May 2012.
