Revamping Star One into Life OK was a big risk. Furthermore, the channel even took off its hit shows Geet Hui Sabse Parayi and Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani to make way for new shows. And it looks like Life OK, has hit the right chords, with many of its shows being immensely popular amongst the audiences.
Talking about the success of the channel, Ajit Thakur, head and GM of Life OK informs Tellychakkar.com, “We always wanted our channel to start a new trend, with every show propagating a social message. Luckily, with in a few months time, the audiences have absorbed it very well and we have been able to create a different identity of the channel. Though our shows experimented with social issues (like in Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava which is based on domestic violence), the response has been amazing.”
In fact, Life OK has surpassed the figures of Star One. “I am happy to inform the audiences that Life OK is doing better than Star One. To explain it in numbers, Star One was always at 35-40 GRPs, but Life OK has already passed 85 GRPs. It has already crossed Star One’s target within a few months,” shares Ajit.
Hmm…. So life is more than just ok for Life OK.
