CID on Sony TV became the longest running television series in India recently when it completed 15 long years of successful airing. Not only that, ‘The Inheritance,’ a particular episode of the popular detective series got into both the Limca Book of Records and the Guinness Book of World Records for its record-breaking single shot episode, a feat which director B P Singh feels every “Indian should be proud of because no one has achieved this before.” But is the show heading towards an end?
Speculations are on as the upcoming episode this Friday brings ACP Pradyuman himself under the scanner. Cops find ACP Pradyuman as a suspect in a murder case. The DCP gets to know about the activities of ACP and issues a deadline to capture ACP or he will disband CID.
Could this be CID's last case?
