It seems to be the season of crime. Well, don’t get us wrong. We are just talking about the rising number of crime shows that are hitting the airwaves. Optimystix’s Crime Patrol (Sony Entertainment Television) is already ruling the roost in the number game and Channel V’s show Gumraah, anchored by Karan Kundra, is also being liked by the masses. Now, cashing on the crime formula, other show makers are also coming up with more serials which tread the bloody line.
Three production houses, namely Contiloe, Fremantle and Rowdy Rascals, have joined hands to launch a new crime based soap, titled Crime at 11 on Life OK. And guess what? They have decided to cast sexy and suave Gaurav Chopraa (aka Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore of Uttaran) to host it.
A source informed that the show is being made on a large scale and will be based on real life crime incidents. It will create awareness amongst masses about dangerous crimes.
“Yes, I am part of the show and today is my first day of shoot (16 April 2012). When I was offered the show it sounded very interesting and hard hitting to me but I can’t comment anything on the concept as I would like to talk about it at the right place and right time.”
Crime at 11 will hit the screens in the near future!!!
