Benaf Dadachandji opts out of Choti Bahu; bags Hats off's next

The world of daily soaps is as fickle and ever-changing as the mind of a teenager. The makers of Zee TV’s Choti Bahu decided to bring back Barkha (Benaf Dadachandji) in the show, and was the first to learn and report about it. But now, the creatives have had a change of mind and have decided to do away with Barkha’s track. The show will see a new development henceforth. But what is the precise reason for the change?

Well, the buzz is that Benaf has bagged the lead role in Hats off Productions’ upcoming show, tentatively titled Byah Hamari Bahu Ka, on Sony Entertainment Television. She will be seen as a modern, outgoing girl living a carefree life who believes more in friendship than the emotion of love. As reported earlier by us, Prateeksha Lonkar is also a part of Byah

So, Benaf nodded in favour of Byah and opted out of Choti Bahu. When we got in touch with her to find more about the development, she said, “Talks are on with Hats off but I can’t comment anything as this point of time. Things are in the pipeline, let things fall in place.”

Benaf has earlier worked with Hats off in Star Plus’ show Baa, Bahu aur Baby
