Channel V is all set to entertain viewers with their latest offering, Suvreen Guggal...topper of the year. The lead character of Suvreen is being played by Smriti Kalra, who was seen in Sunshine Productions’ Karol Bagh (ZEE TV).
The promos are already out and the show will hit the screens on 19 March 2012. It will be aired at 6.30pm and 8pm (repeat telecast). Now, veteran actor Akshay Anand will also be seen in the serial.
“I will be the proud father of Suvreen Guggal. I will be a typical Punjabi who will be very loud in his approach. However, I will also be light-hearted,” informed Akshay to Tellychakkar.com.
He further shared that he liked the concept of the show so decided to opt for it.
“Furthermore, through this character I will become the epitome of fatherhood. In real life, I am the father of two so I thought I should try to portray a role which can help me in my real life as well.”
Akshay, we know you will do great in Suvreen...Moreover, he will also be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming flick Student of the Year.
“It’s a nice cameo. I can’t really comment much at this point of time,” he ended.
