It’s time to celebrate on the sets of Hats off Productions’ R K Laxman Ki Duniya (SAB TV). Reason? The show is completing 100 episodes this Friday, 13 April 2012. The show, which reflects the happenings, struggles, happiness and other diverse emotions in a common man’s life, has definitely emerged as a comedy show to reckon with.
“It’s one of the most entertaining subjects and I chose very common looking characters to fit the role. And one thing is sure that common man’s problems are never ending and it will go on. We were sure it would go on till 100 episodes. We have not made it pure comedy it’s the issues that all of us relate to. It’s realistic put in humorous vein,” shares producer Dharmesh Mehta.
Vandana Pathak, who essays the role of Bhavana, is also equally elated, “I feel honored to be part of this show. The entire cast and crew are like a big family and every day on the sets is a memorable incident.”
She further says that while shooting in Matheran, one of her fans came down to meet her.
“It was very sweet. In another incident, the maids of my society said that they all love my show. It’s a wonderful feeling when you learn that fans love your show,” she ends.
