Sharad Kelkar of the Saat Phere fame has been officially confirmed to replace Mohnish Behl in Sony TV's Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. The hunt for a new face began when Mohnish Behl complained of health problems involving his back. Though Mohnish's exit from the show did not go donw well with the viewers of the show, officials claimed the situation was unavoidable and that they tried every possible alternative to retain him.
Several actors namely Anoop Soni, Anuj Saxena and Cezzane Khan were considered for the role. But Sharad was the one to bag the role. The actor seems to have cordial relations with producer-director Rajan Shahi from Director's Kut eversince Saat Phere days.
Mohnish's (Dr Ashutosh) exit from the show was planned around an accident. When quizzed Sharad about his entry sequence, the actor remaned tight lipped and did with only saying, "You have to watch the show to know it."
The buzz is that Dr Ashutosh will have to undergo a facial surgery post the accident that will mark the entry of Sharad. The episode will go on air this Friday, March 16.
How will Dr Nidhi react to the new face of Dr Ashutosh? Will she be able to love him the same as he loved him before or will the equations change?
