Survivor India contestants rough it up right on Day 1 (06-01-2012)

The 22 celebrities on STAR Plus’ mega reality show Survivor India got a nasty welcome into the jungle. While they were on their way their boat overturned mid-sea and weak swimmers like Payal Rohatgi and Shilpa Agnihotri were shaken with fear so badly that it took them a while to come back to normal. While this was just the entry, the contestants had no idea what more would be in store for them. After the fearsome marooning, on the very first day, Jamnadas Majethia (JD) broke down as he missed his family. He said that his wife’s constant complaint was that he never told her that he loved her. Making no further delay, he declared his love for his wife on national television.

While there was declaration of love going on, the tribes had to end their first day without fire and go hungry. As if hunger was not enough, the darkness in the jungle made it even worse for everyone. While few managed to find way to their camps, few chose to give up and spent the night all cramped up in their little make-shift shelter.

Survivor India premieres tomorrow on STAR Plus at 2100 hrs.
