Imagine TV's newly launched reality show, Gyaan Guru which puts light on India's tradition and rituals will now start roping celebrities for their hot seat.A little birdie from the sets informs, "The production house is planning to rope in a few celebrities who could be a part of the show. For the same, names such as Smriti Zubin Irani, Pooja Bedi, Vishal Karwal and Sushant Singh Rajput are being considered. The production house is keen on taking up these actors for the show."
We contacted Smriti Irani who says, "Though I haven't received any call for Gyaan Guru, if something interesting comes up, I am willing to take it up."
Vishal Karwal too refused the buzz while Sushant and Pooja remained unavailable for comment!
Who sits on the hot seat and becomes the celebrity Gyan Guru is something to watch out for!

The show is being touted as a quiz show with a unique twist – all its questions will be based on Indian customs and traditions. Channelwallahs claim it is also an attempt to educate the youth about Indian culture. Get the answers right and you stand to win pots of money. Shakti Arora (of Sanskaar Lakshmi and Tere Liye fame) will be hosting the show. We will watch this one just to see how they define the very complicated term ‘Indian’.

Imagine TV is coming up with a quiz show titled as Gyan Guru. The show will basically be a quiz contest for the normal audience, just like other quiz reality shows. But the difference would be that only cultural traditions and rituals related questions would be posed to the participant. The channel will select entries that are above 14 years and those who possess a bank of knowledge about India's tradition and cultures.
It so happens that many of us follow traditions without even knowing the reason behind them. Therefore, Imagine TV has put forward this concept to take India to it's roots.
