Bigg Boss 5 is all set to come to its end, and boy, things are still heating up. Why do we say so? Because, the latest we hear is that two ex-contestants, Pooja Bedi and Pooja Misrra have been asked by Colors to stay away from the finale on 7 January 2012.
Now, I know you guys are dying for all the dope. But you have to hold on. Okay, we were kidding. Just read on. Channel officials contacted Pooja Bedi three days back and asked her to perform on a medley on the finale but suddenly they changed their minds.
On the issue, Pooja tweeted, “Have been informed by channel that I'm not to attend finale, despite it being mandatory in my contract! Wonder why! Any guesses?” And she further added, “Have asked channel to state reason I cannot be there at finale to cheer my friends on! Also, till yesterday I was to do a medley! What changed?’
Tellychakkar.com spoke to Pooja and she said, “Channel says that the production house (Endemol) decided to shelve my act, and when I talked to the production house, they shifted the blame on the channel.”
Well, not only Pooja Bedi but Pooja Misrra will also not be seen in the finale. Pooja Misrra’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar tweeted about it. We tried getting in touch with the “spare me” girl, but she remained unavailable. But Pooja Bedi confirmed that she has also heard about the development. “I haven’t been in touch with Misrra after the show, but yesterday, I did talk to her via her publicist and I believe she will also not be seen in the finale.”
Hmm…something is fishy. Now, if rumour mills are to be believed then Salman Khan has pulled the trigger on both the Poojas. Both Pooja Bedi and Misrra voiced their opinions against the show and its hosts in the media and on varied social networking sites.
Well, this might or might not be true, but Hrithik Roshan was also supposed to make an appearance on the day of the finale to promote his upcoming movie, Agneepath. But that too got scrapped. Now, we all know that Hrithik and Salman share a cold war ever since the former reacted to Salman’s comments against the director of Guzaarish, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. So can it be possible that Salman is throwing his weight around?
