Bigg Boss 5 in 2011 is the fifth season of the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss, which aired on Colors from 2 October 2011 to 7 January 2012 with Sanjay Dutt as the host.[2] Salman Khan hosted the opening and the Diwali special episodes along with Sanjay Dutt after which Sanjay Dutt took over as the permanent host of the season.
During the launch on October 2, fourteen hand-picked housemates entered the house located in Karjat, a town, about halfway between Mumbai and Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Five additional wild card entries were made during the second, third, fourth, the end of seventh week and the mid of the tenth week taking the number of contestants to nineteen. A guest entry, who stayed in the house for three days, was made in the sixth week thus taking the total number of inhabitants to twenty. The housemates, considered strangers for each other, will spend 96 days (14 weeks) locked out together under the supervision of 55 cameras fitted around the house.

such a gentleman he is! Stern yet respectful. Very fun loving and entertaining yet he knows where to draw the line! He is awesome! He reminds me of Mr. Rathode from Uttran! 
(sorry for the lame comparison) even though the girl doesnt come from a classy background her conduct was the best in the house! She kept her cool in most situations! Unless she was really rubbed the wrong way she didn't react! i don't care what you guys say but I seriously respect Shakti Kapoor! The way PB went on and on talking sh*t about him was enough for anyone to atleast shout his lungs out on her or give her two big gaalis! Had Amar, Sky or Sid been in his place, she would have had it! 
(this is the major reason for this show to be so flop) Because of this there are so many fights in the house. Because of this nominations and evictions are so damn predictable. Because of this people are not being spontaneous. Because of this there are only two paths (green room or anti green room) in the house rather than one path each for each contestant! With Sunny's entry being a real dampener! Sorry Sunny fans but she is really useless! No doubt she is drop dead gorgeous but she is really irritating!

No really funny harmless jokes! All we have is bad mimicry and below the belt distasteful jokes which belittles people! Either about someone's way of speaking or about farting!
