Suresh Menon and Chunky to judge Pehchaan Kaun

Mimicry forms a substantial part of Indian humour. Many of our actors have shot to fame by impersonating noted celebrities. After bringing stand-up comedy to the fore, Star One is now set to revive mimicry. Violet Pictures Company, makers of the The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, have joined hands with Fox Television to produce a new show Pehchaan Kaun that will provide a platform for mimicry artistes to showcase their talent.

Bollywood actor Suresh Menon, who is himself known for his mimicry skills and Chunky Pandey will be the judges for the show. Confirming the news, Pankaj Saraswat of VPC says, "Pehchaan Kaun is a contest for mimicry artists. Suresh Menon and Chunky Pandey have been roped in as the judges. The host is still not finalised. We're producing this show with Fox Television."

We contacted Chunky Pandey who merely agreed to be doing a new show for Star One but refused to divulge any other details. Suresh Menon remained unavailable for comment.

Pehchaan Kaun will commence once the The Great Indian Laughter Champions, now known as Laughter Knights, comes to a halt.
