Ketki plays Don in SAB's show Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Is Ghar Ki

Ketki Dave will now be seen as a Gujrathi don in SAB's show Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Is Ghar Ki...

The Aa-ra-ra-ra-ra lady Ketki Dave who is famously know as Dakshaben will be soon entering the SAB show Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki. She will be seen in a complete new avatar.

She will be donning the look of a Gujarati Don in the show. “It’s a funny avatar as I will be essaying the role of a lady don in the show,” says Ketki.

Elaborating on her character she explains, “Don Rita is a very fat lady who is married to a guy who is very young called Aman Shetty (Amit Dolawat).”

What was the reason for taking up this show? “I was looking out for some cameo and this show came my way. After listening to the script and character, I just said yes. It is really exciting to essay this role,” she quips.

She is a fat lady in the show, so it was quite difficult for her to carry out the outfit. “It’s terrible to wear this outfit as it’s very heavy and I feel so hot after wearing it. Though there is this problem, I’m enjoying this stint,” she concludes.

We also talked to Amit Dolawat who has a double role to play in the show. He plays the love interest of Pooja, and also Don Rita’s dominated husband. “Well it’s quite interesting to essay the role of Aman Shetty who is married to the lady double his age. He is presented as a don but is a good guy at heart. There is some situation that turns him like this.”

To add fuel to fire, further chaos is created when ‘Aman’ (Amit Dolawat) and ‘SMS’ (Mushtaq Khan) run into their respective doubles resulting in evident confusion and mayhem in the show.

Ketki in and as Don… seems interesting, but lets see if the show goes as per the expectation of its audience.

Ketki Dave who became synonymous with ‘Aa-ra-ra-ra-ra’ as Dakshachachi in Kyunki… will now be seen in a new avatar. Coming back to the small screen, she plays the role of a notorious Don who creates complete pandemonium for all those around her. Completely charged up to play this different genre, Ketki will be seen in her new look as a Don starting December 8.

Ketki plays the role of Ritaben who is the daughter of a famous Don in Goa and is the successor of his business after his death. Known for her explicit character as Don Rita, she plays a very obstinate character that always gets her way with things. She makes her husband dance to her tunes all day long. Suffering the ordeals of life, Aman (Amit Dolawat in a double role) who is actually quite a few years younger to her is forced to marry her at gunpoint. Compelled to do all the household chores, Aman has to deal with his wife’s different mood swings as she often kidnaps people and loots banks according to her own whims and fancies thereby creating havoc amongst those around her.

To add fuel to the fire, further chaos is created when Aman (Amit Dolawat) and SMS (Mushtaq Khan) run into their respective doubles resulting in evident confusion and mayhem in the show.

Aman the male protagonist of the show plays a double role - one opposite Pooja as her emerging love interest and the other as Don Rita’s’ dominated husband.

Bagging this exciting role, Ketki Dave says, “I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this show as I get a chance to show a different aspect of my talent as an actress. Don Rita is actually quite a funny character which I am sure will be enjoyed by the audience and I am very excited to play my part.”
