Has marriage spelt the doom for Pallavi’s career?

Pallavi Kulkarni, better known as Vaidehi, is a sad lady these days. "Where have all the good shows gone? There is nothing worth mentioning on the television channels today," says the pretty actress when asked about why she is not doing any serials now. "

I am busy shooting for a number of commercials. I have realised, this is the best way to keep yourself engaged and also in the viewers mind during such times," says Pallavi who has recently shot for a few commercials to be aired on South Indian channels soon. "This does not mean I will not do television serials any more. I am just waiting for a good performance-oriented role."

Pallavi also regrets saying No to Balaji when the role of Bani (Kasamh Se) was offered to her. After she declined, Gurdeep Kohli lapped up the offer.

"Actually I did not want to say no, but I was having to travel to the US on a personal trip which could not be postponed and the producers of the serial were not ready to wait for me. I really wish I could take up the offer," says a regretful Pallavi.

Few of us are aware that Pallavi is married. "My husband -- Mihir Nerurkar -- is into real estate," says the shy wife. "Actually I am not the kind of person who will create a huge hype about this and invite the entire industry and media for my wedding. Perhaps that is why no one is offering me roles!" says Pallavi. Is anyone listening?
