New Balaji show to replace ‘Kyunki…’?

Spicezee Bureau New Delhi, Nov 04: Star Group is going to replace the shelved Balaji serials ‘Kyunki…’ and ‘Kahani Ghar…’ with new Balaji serials. Balaji Telefilms and the Star group recently had a fallout over taking the legendary TV soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi off air, where the former had its say. The new Balaji presentation is ‘Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna’, is to be aired soon on Star Plus. The decision has reportedly been reached about the replacements, but no conclusive statements have been issued by any of the concerned camps. A top official of Star has said, “The matter is currently sub-judice. However, it doesn’t stop us from launching new Balaji shows. They will continue to be our content producers.” “The new show is about two friends turned enemies, and what happens when their grandchildren fall in love,” a creative head at Balaji Telefilms informed about the new program, adding "the new show is completely family oriented." Besides ‘Tujh…’, more Balaji shows are reported to be launched soon, but future plans of the ‘Saas-Bahu-mogul’ is not known.
