'I liked the way my character ended in Kasamh Se' - Pallavi Subhash

Pallavi Subhash looks ahead and chalks out her next move...

As her role in Kasamh Se has drawn to an end, Pallavi Subhash
aims to get back to Maharashtrian theater, as acting on stage has always been her first preference!!

“With an overdose of daily soaps, my entire lifestyle has changed. I now want to get back to theater”, quips Pallavi. The actress also wants to make it big in Marathi shows or films. “My fans there have been requesting me to do some work in Marathi, so that opens up another avenue for me”, she states.

Pallavi, who played the tactful and evil Meera in Zee’s Kasamh Se, loved the way in which her character was established. “I was to be in the show only for 4-5 months, but I got an extension due to the popularity of the character. I liked the way in which they developed it. Also, I was happy with the way they ended my character”, avers Pallavi.

The actress also recently enjoyed her first stint at reality shows with 9X’ Tyohaar Dhamaaka. “I had refused to take it up earlier as I was doing two shows. But, I could not deny the production house, as I’ve known them for a while now. Finally, I took it up as I had a chance to do something different. I enjoyed the rehearsals and all the good clothes I get to put on (grins). Dancing has and always will be close to my heart”, quotes the actress.

Pallavi would not mind doing another dance reality show. “I will love to take up more opportunities when it comes to dancing; but it is a definite no-no to the singing ones, as I am not even a bathroom singer”, says a smiling Pallavi.

On the low TRP’s of Karam Apnaa Apnaa, the actress states, “I don’t worry about TRPs. As an actor, I used to give my best shot even when we had high TRPs and I continue to do the same even now. So that hardly matters to me”.

As of now, Pallavi as Gauri is busy fighting against all odds in Karam Apnaa Apnaa wherein she has an uphill task to save her husband from the enemies.
