With Bigg Boss 2 set to close on 22 November, Colors have lined up couple of shows as its replacement. One of the new shows that will replace Bigg Boss is Cinevistaas’ Jaane Kya Baat Hui which stars Shweta Tiwari and Sanjeet Bedi.A source from the production informs, “Earlier, our show was to air at afternoon. However, the channel really liked the concept and so they’ve now placed us at prime time. Jaane Kya Baat Hui will air at 10.00 pm. However, with the current crisis facing our industry, I don’t think the show will go on air before December. “
Officials from Colors remained unavailable for comment.
Jaane Kya Baat Hui stars Shweta Tiwari, who marks her return to fiction after Kasautii Zindagi Kay. The other cast comprises of Sanjeet Bedi, Abhinav Shukla and Ami Trivedi.

Dr. Omi Joshi of Sanjeevani is a busy man these days. Better known as Sanjit Bedi, the actor is doing two serials for different channels under the same production banner. Needless to say, he is not complaining.
“Why should I? This is the time to work and Cinevistas has always given me good roles and Jaane Kya Baat Hui (on Colors) and Vivaah (on Zee) have very challenging roles for me”, says Sanjit.
While Bedi was a part of the original Sanjeevani, he is not to be seen in the sequel Dill Mill Gayye. “The sequel is more about the young generation and their love lives. Though the first part also revolved around love stories, it was not the central theme. There were other plots as well. I don't think I would have been suitable in the sequel”, says Bedi.
Vivaah is a women-centric show. What made him take up the role? A smiling Bedi responds in his characteristic witty manner, “In India you won't find any television serial that is not women-centric. Plus Rajveer is a brilliant character – there was no way I could have missed that. There are so many shades to the character. He is very rich and successful in his professional life, but his personal life is in tantrums. The girl he loved and got married to, is in love with someone else. I am really enjoying playing this role”.
In what seems to be a bizarre coincidence, his on-screen wife, played by Shweta Tiwari in Jaane Kya Baat Hui on COLORS also turns out to be infidel. Ask him about this and all you will get in return is a smile. “To answer your question, I have to give out the storyline which I cannot! So wait and watch.
I am enjoying working with Shweta Tiwari – though this time in a different way. In Kasauti ..she was my sister-in-law and this time the equations are completely different”, says he. Sanjit Bedi also participated in Sony’s reality show Mr. and Ms. Television and though he did not win the competition, he surely left a mark.
“am comfortable with these light reality shows where you don't have to plead with people for votes through SMSes! I am also participating as the celebrity guest for Jayati Bhatia in the Sahara reality show, Saas V/s Bahu”, says the actor who is happily married to a very possessive wife! “I am a very caring husband too and my wife will never let me participate in shows like Nach Baliye!”, avers Sanjit as he signs off…
Abhinav Shukla to woo Shweta Tiwari in Jaane Kya Baat Hui..
Abhinav Shukla of Jersey No. 10 fame will be seen in COLORS' upcoming serial Jaane Kya Baat Hui which will also star Shweta Tiwari and Sanjit Bedi...
Abhinav Shukla, better known as Arjun of SAB’s Jersey No 10 is back on the small screen with a new show, albeit on a different channel. The new serial Jaane Kya Baat Hui – to be aired on COLORS is from the house of Cinevistas, the same company that produced the SAB show. 
“I am playing the role of Shantanu who hails from London and comes to India to pursue his dreams of becoming a successful musician”, explains Shukla, who participated in the Gladrags super model contest a year and a half back.
“Shantanu stays with a couple (Shweta Tiwari and Sanjit Bedi) in India and the story deals with the troubles Shantanu faces while pursuing his dream, and also about the relationship between the three of them”, says the handsome guy..
He is a light hearted guy who loves to be the center of attraction always. “It is this nature of mine that makes me fall in love with Shweta Tiwari during the course of the story. While Shweta likes me a lot, she loves her husband as well and this leads to a lot of confusion in her mind. The serial will also deal with the conflicts she faces and how she overcomes them”, quips the actor.
I have just started shooting for the promos of the show. “I am delighted to be part of Jaane Kya Baat Hui for two reasons; one is that it has a completely different storyline, and the other being I get the opportunity to work with Shweta”, says Shukla, who is a qualified engineer from the Punjab Technical University.
The show is in all likelihood going to replace Khatron Ke Khiladi – Fear Factor on COLORS. Abhinav's fans will have to wait for at least a couple of episodes for him to make an entry in the serial. After that, there will be no looking back – it will be his show all the way! Abhinav is also auditioning for a few big banner films. “But that does not mean anything. There are hundreds of actors who take part in auditions but only one gets selected. So till the time something concrete happens I am keeping my fingers crossed”, concludes the actor.
