First original music video of Indian Idol

Life has never been so hectic for the ‘Top 14’ contestants of Indian Idol 4. They have been busy practicing, performing, grooming themselves and even attending press conferences. Recently they also recorded their first music track.

The catchy number was unveiled recently in Mumbai. Unlike the earlier seasons where the music videos of the show were remix versions of already popular songs; the new season has an all new song. It was Rubaroo from the film Range De Basanti in the last season. This time it is an all new song composed by debutante John Stewart with lyrics by Irfan Siddhiqi, who has written lyrics for the recently released film Fashion, the popular song aashayein from the movie Iqbal among many others. Their first music video will be filmed by the creative team of Sony Entertainment Television.

The next that's keeping the ‘Top 14’ contestants busy is the three city concerts planned in Bhopal, Kanpur and Kolkatta. This is where they will not only be honing their singing but also bond with their fans and appeal for votes.

Phew isn’t that a plateful for these newbies?
