Director-producer Ajai Sinha, who has over the years churned out hits like Hasratein, Justajoo and most recently Ghar Ek Sapna, is set to produce a new show for NDTV Imagine.
Talking about it, a source says, “The show was earlier titled Ek Arzoo. However, since that name is already registered, the producers are now working on a new title. It’s going to be a love story. The cast consists of relatively new actors. Actor Bhuvnesh, who was seen in 9X’s Dahhej and two new girls – one of them is named Farhana – play the leading characters. Pakistani actor Yasir Shah, who’s done shows like Khwaish and Jiya Jale, too has been offered. The time slot isn’t decided yet but in all probability it could a prime time show. The shoot will commence in late December.”
While Yasir simply refused to comment, Bhuvnesh merely agreed to having accepted the show.
Producer Ajai Sinha remained unavailable for comment.
