Another terrorist attack on Mumbai and India, let's ask our telly stars where they were at the time of attack and what is their experience!

Multiple Explosions heard at Taj hotel!

The battle is still on in Nariman House!

Hotel Oberoi Trident is now under control!

These are the headlines which are hogging the limelight for the past two days!! The attacks have not only shaken Mumbai, but the whole of India. We stand united and are with the affected families at this time of grave grief. Let’s pay tribute to all those brave hearted officers who have fought selflessly to secure our future and have laid their lives for the country, and all the innocent victims who have succumbed to this barbaric act.

Television shows had just got thro’ the lull phase few days back, and all was getting back to normalcy when Mumbai had this setback. We talk to few stars to know what they feel about the whole terror attack..

Additional Comm. ATS Chief Inspector

Payal Sarkar:

Where were you when the terror attack started?
I boarded a flight to Kolkata just few hours before terror could strike Mumbai.

How do you think we can stay united at this hour and fight against terrorism?
First of all, we should not panic, as we spread fear around by doing so. People should concentrate on their safety, and also should keep their eyes open and notify the police if in case they see or hear something fishy. We also need to be cautious and avoid going to areas which have had terror attacks. And above all, we need to give a helping hand to the injured in some way or the other.

Any message you would like to give to the families who have lost their loved ones over the past few days?
The families need emotional and moral support the most now. There was a particular SMS that was doing rounds yesterday which said, ‘Light a candle and think about the ones who have lost their lives’. I did light a candle last night. I am in Kolkata right now, but once I get back to Mumbai, I will like to join the team that is serving the injured and will want to help them. I am praying that the operations successfully cease!!

Manish Raisinghania:

Where were you when the terror attack started?
I was in Malad at my friend’s place when my near and dear ones called me to get back home soon.

How do you think we can stay united at this hour and fight against terrorism?
First of all, we should put an end to rascism and communism that prevails in India. We need to put people behind bars who practice this, as such differences are the main reason behind such attacks. The very differentiation in religion and caste should be wiped off, and the day we all feel we are united, we would have almost won the battle.

Any message you would like to give to the families who have lost their loved ones over the past few days?
My hearty condolences to the families of innocent people, who have lost their near and dear ones. I am a person who takes such killings and sorrow very personally. I feel sad to see the whole country shaken at the moment.

Chahat Khanna:

Where were you when the terror attack started?
I was in Bandra shopping when someone called me and told me about the incidents. I then rushed to my friend’s place and stayed there overnight.

How do you think we can stay united at this hour and fight against terrorism?
I really do not say what to answer here. But I think media should be stopped from covering all these incidents, as they provide first hand info to the terrorists thro’ this. The crime reporters should be stopped from doing so. In Pakistan, when such incidents happen, the channels go blank and nothing gets aired. So we need to put to practice this system in India too. We can surely show the highlights of the proceedings bit delayed.

Any message you would like to give to the families who have lost their loved ones over the past few days?
It’s so sad that this is all happening in our country. My condolences to people who have lost their loved ones.

Ajay Kkrish:

Where were you when the terror attack started?
I was in Bandra when the terror attacks started.

How do you think we can stay united at this hour and fight against terrorism?
Well, unity is the key here. Also I think the intelligence forces of our country should act smarter. Navy base seems to be bit reluctant to act fast, so I guess this needs to be made better. Above all, there should be no religious fights, and people should not give any room for the politicians to play their games.

Any message you would like to give to the families who have lost their loved ones over the past few days?
My hearty condolences!! I feel we need to get united at this time of grief!
