After the success of reality TV shows like Bigg Bossand Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi, Endemol India plans to launch game formats based on these shows. It has initiated talks with social networking websites like Orkut and Facebook for online version of these games.
Endemol is also planning to start a mixed variety of reality-based shows for Indian viewers within the next six months. CEO Deepak Dhar says, “We have a three point agenda—launching call based TV shows, advertisers-backed programmes and tapping regional media by next year.” Wipe Out, Divided and 1 Vs 100 are the three international shows of Endemol, which will be adapted as per the requirements of Indian media industry and will be launched by March next year. Endemol has also geared up to venture into the regional media industry .
