Star One's New Reality show "Zara Nach ke Dikha" NO Eliminations

Star One will launch Zara Nachke Dikha, a battle of the sexes on the dance floor. The show, spread over 22 episodes, started 14th July.



The show has been produced by production house SOL, which has earlier produced shows like Koffee with Karan and Nach Baliye. Ravi Menon, executive vice-president, Star One, said, "Being unique and presenting the audiences with something exclusive has always been our forte.



The gender war will get an all-new meaning with this show and we hope to push the envelope of fun and entertainment. We have roped in the best dancers from the television industry for both the teams so as to ensure a fair battleground. We have been redefining television viewership with all our new programming content.



"The show will feature twice a week with the best of celebrities from the television industry who will be pitted against each other to prove their superiority. The first day will be the Performance Episode for one and half hours while the second day will be the Challenge Episode for one hour. Each Performance Episode will have seven different performances involving both teams, and the jury will decide one winner.



For the weaker team, the Challenge Episode will give an opportunity to bounce back. It comprises eight girls against eight boys.



The contestants are Delnaaz Paul, Karishma Tanna, Maninee De, Narayani Shastri, Mouni Roy, Rupali Ganguli, Jennifer Winget, Ali Asgar, Bhaktyaar Irani, Gaurav Chopra, Manish Goel, Chaitanya Choudhary, Amit Tandon, Vikas Sethi, and Child Artist Swini Khare and Amey Pandya will also take part in this upcoming show.



There will be no eliminations and no public voting, the show will be based on the jury's final verdict. It will not only present viewers with some stimulating dance moves but also showcase the best of strategies in order to score over the opposite team. From understanding the next move to playing mind games to being extremely manipulative, the show will have the 'mundas' scheme against the 'kudis' and vice-versa in the strategy room. Meanwhile, Pari Hoon Main, the daily soap on Star One, is on its way out.



The show about mistaken identities is going off air to make way for Zara Nachke Dikha. Producer Ravi Chopra admits that the story of Pari.. has stagnated but says, "We are in talks with the channel to turn things around." If not yanked off, Pari Hoon Main's time-slot may change.
