Final call by finalists of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar...

A fight between Indian Idol 1 winner, Voice of India 1 runner & Indian Idol 1 2rd running.

It is just one day to go and all eyes are eagerly waiting for the grand finale of Star Plus’ Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar, a musical reality show which will give us the first ‘Superstar’. After three months of hard work and struggle, it is Abhijeet Sawant, Harshit Saxena and Rahul Vaidya who have made it to the top three.

The three finalists are now ready for the final battle and echo the same sentiment that they will give their best shot. “The stress level is very high and I am just waiting for the finals to get over”, quips Rahul. Abhijeet who is battling a bad throat says, “The preparation for the finale has not been a cake walk as I am having a bad throat. But all said and done, I am surely looking forward to the finale”. Talking of the tough competition faced in this reality show, Harshit quips, “It is a very nice feeling to be in the finals. It is surely an achievement for me as we were pitted against the best singers in this reality show”.

When asked whether the win under his belt in Indian Idol gives him an added advantage, Abhijeet states, “There is nothing like that. Expectations are high here and so is the competition”. Rahul who makes it to the finals of a reality show for the first time quotes, “I am glad that I made it to the finale here. But I must say that I am more nervous this time. We are all known faces now, so the pressure of winning is more and the audience expectations are very high”.

.

Harshit feels that his biggest competitor here is Abhijeet Sawant. “In VOI, I performed very well, but I lost out as I got very few votes from one of the zones. This time I am more hopeful as it is an all India voting and I have given my best shot too”. Abhijeet on the other hand says “Harshit is my biggest competitor. Let’s see what happens tomorrow!!”. Finally, when asked Rahul whether he will be able to settle scores with Abhijeet, he says, “It’s good that we both have come face-to-face after three years. Let’s see who wins this time!!”..

It is now or never for these three contestants and they are grabbing every opportunity to prove themselves and impress the audience. At this stage, all we can say is – May the best man win!! Finals on Star Plus, 12th July 8 P.M. (kismat connection film team also joining)
